Just Dance 3

Okay tracklist, somewhat repetitive dance moves, some annoying and bland songs.

Wii

Game
Score
Notes
Animal Crossing: City Folk
7
The least popular of the main series, but I think it's still a decent Animal Crossing game with the classic formula. Runs buttery smooth.
Cooking Mama: Cook Off
7
Surprisingly fun and a little janky for a cooking minigame collection. Played a lot with my sister during childhood.
Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party
7
First DDR game I owned because I missed playing Extreme 2 for the PS2 at my summer daycare. Can't go wrong with a DDR game, got really challenging for me.
Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2
-
-
Fortune Street
8
Underrated and cult classic party game. Really difficult for me to grasp but quickly became very fun to play with friends.
Just Dance
6
Very novel concept as a motion control game, but super primitive and janky to play now. Uniquely vintage song selection.
Just Dance: Greatest Hits
-
-
Just Dance 2
8
Huge improvement in every aspect of a Just Dance game. Dance moves, UI, scoring, tracklist all improved.
Just Dance 3
8
Even sleeker refinements to user experience. New modes, cleaner UI, achievements. Feels more like a game-game for a dance game.
Just Dance 4
9
My favorite Just Dance game ever. Favorite tracklist, UI, dance moves, extra modes, and scoring. Peak balance of accessibility and challenge.
Just Dance 2014
9
Most fully featured Just Dance. Has all legacy modes, more variations, more unlockables than ever. Slight downgrade in tracklist.
Just Dance Summer Party
7
Just a repackaged DLC pack, but great for preservation. Compact but good continuation of Just Dance 2 experience.
Kirby's Dream Collection
9
Amazing legacy compilation. Full of charm and thoughtful content.
Kirby's Epic Yarn
8
Very cute and relaxing 2D platformer. Gets a bad rap for being too easy, but I think it still fits the series well.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
8
Pretty good classic 2D Kirby game. Not too offensive, fun multiplayer, good amount of collectibles and side modes.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
6
Respect the darker tone but a lot of mechanics have not aged well. Obtuse puzzles and clunky gameplay.
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
-
-
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
7
Really novel crossover that can only happen in the 2000s. Above average minigame collection with a little janky motion controls.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
-
-
Mario Kart Wii
9
Super nostalgic Mario Kart title. First game that I basically completed with all the trophies. Very chaotic and unfair item balance but iconic courses and soundtrack.
Mario Party 8
8
First Mario Party that I owned, played so much with my sister. Motion controls aren't that bad.
Mario Party 9
6
Commend the formula change, but executed poorly. Takes the fun out of navigating the boards. Fun minigames, though.
Mario Super Sluggers
7
My first Mario Baseball game, simple, fun, and charming presentation. Gameplay is decent for a baseball game.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
7
Really fun but extremely chaotic in multiplayer. Some collectibles and secrets are really mean.
Rhythm Heaven Fever
10
Extremely charming and replayable game. Memorable tracks and minigames, epitome of Nintendo quirkiness.
Super Mario Galaxy
8
Holds up really well as a Mario game. Approachable gameplay. Memorable soundtrack and level design.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
8
Played this before Galaxy 2. More linear levels, but I don't mind cuz they're still fun. Yoshi inclusion is automatically a better game.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
9
One of my favorite Smash games content-wise. Iconic single player campaign with lots to unlock. Tripping is stupid, though.
Wii Fit
7
Cute concept of game-ifying workouts. Fun little minigames, but not substantial enough.
Wii Fit Plus
8
Better version with more content, basically the same game, but more definitive.
Wii Play
7
Surprisingly robust minigame collection. Intertwined with Wii nostalgia, especially Tanks.
Wii Play: Motion

Less memorable collection, but not many offensively bad minigames. Wii Motion Plus utilized pretty well.
Wii Sports
8
All-time Wii classic for a reason. Simple pick-up-and-play concept that never gets old.
Wii Sports Resort
10
More definitive Wii Sports, one of my favorite Wii games. Adore the contextualization of all sports on Wuhu Island. Best use of Wii Motion Plus.

3DS

Game
Score
Notes
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
9
My first ever Animal Crossing. Instantly hooked and played every day from 2015 to 2016. A very sentimental game for me.
Kirby: Planet Robobot
-
-
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
8
One of the few 2D Zelda games I enjoyed the whole way through. Loved the freedom to do any dungeon in any order by renting items.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
8
Very captivating premise and stressful time limit. Side quests make the adventure infinitely more interesting and fun based on the clock.
Mario Kart 7
8
My first 3DS game I played when I got the system. Played this game to death when it was my only game for months. Took a lot of elements from Mario Kart Wii, pretty fun tracks, just not as iconic.
Miitopia
8
Extremely charming Mii game. Admittedly feels brain-off with the autoplay combat, but the quirky and unserious vibes make up for it.
New Super Mario Bros. 2
-
-
Pokémon X/Y
7
Really anticipated this game when it first came out, but not really memorable to me nowadays. Utilized a lot of online features for the first time, Wonder Traded a LOT.
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby
8
Really loved this Hoenn remake, despite how much easier it was. Expanded a lot of the original mechanics to increase the replay value.
Pokémon Moon/Sun
8
The most hyped I've felt for a Pokémon game. One of my favorite regions to explore, memorable characters. The constant handholding bogs the experience down, though.
Pokémon Ultra Moon/Sun
8
Preferred way to play Alola. Basically the same game, but more complete. More polish, but less reason to exist.
Super Mario 3D Land
7
One of my first 3D Mario games. A good entry point for my first 3D adventure. Very linear and a little generic, but enjoyable to play through.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
9
I was DYING to play this game for a year, logged a LOT more of this version over the Wii U version because of the portability. My first chronic online addictions and it may have destroyed my Circle Pad...
Tomodachi Life
8
Very quirky and charming Mii game that's basically a pet simulator. Love the real-time mechanics and various interactions.

Wii U

Game
Score
Notes
Just Dance 2015
6
The first Just Dance I bought digitally for my Wii U. Thought the GamePad implementation was novel, but superfluous with Party Master Mode. Song selection was a step down.
Just Dance 2016
6
The last Just Dance games I bought new, really disappointed by the song selection. Not many new exciting modes to stand out.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
10
One of my favorite games of all time. Sank hundreds of hours exploring Hyrule just for fun. Played this version the whole way through because I couldn't afford a Switch at the time.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
8
Beautiful remake that smooths out the rough parts of the adventure like faster sailing and an easier Triforce Quest.
Mario Kart 8
9
Extremely polished and definitive Mario Kart game with an iconic track design and soundtrack that lasted over a decade.
New Super Mario Bros. U
-
-
Nintendo Land
-
-
Splatoon
8
Played this game a year after launch, instantly fell in love with the gameplay and universe. First time playing a competitive game with friends.

9
Unironically one of my favorite 3D Mario games, despite how linear and generic it can feel. Level design and multiplayer are always fun. Completed this game 3 times.
Super Mario Maker
8
My most anticipated title of 2015, unlocked my creative side. Although most levels were garbage, the gems really stood out as really fun and novel.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
9
Extremely fun and meaty Smash game with lots to unlock. Lots of fond high school bonding memories playing 8 player smash.
Wii Party U
7
A decent B-Side of a Mario Party-like experience. More variety rather than lasting impressions. Got this game free as part of a Wii U bundle promotion.
Yoshi's Woolly World
8
Deceptively cozy, yet difficult platformer. Love the vibes, but dread getting the collectibles.

Switch

Game
Score
Notes
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
8
A COVID staple that kept me sane and connected. Deviates a bit too much to the original Animal Crossing formula, but a relaxing game, nonetheless.
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling
9
A loving spiritual successor to the original Paper Mario formula. Memorable characters, surprisingly deep story, and fun level design.
F-Zero 99
7
A nice retro-acrade style tribute to F-Zero. Haven't played much, but enjoy the frantic gameplay with multiple other racers in one track.
Garden Story
-
-
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
8
A perfectly grindy, brain-off game with hundreds of hours of content. Appreciate all of the entire Zelda franchise callbacks.
Just Dance 2022
7
A good return to form of modern Just Dance, good mix of fun and challenging choreography. Decent song selection and beautiful backgrounds.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
10
One of my favorite Kirby games of all time. Super polished and cute 3D adventure that I enjoyed 100% completing.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe
9
A more complete and definitive version of a fun, vanilla 2D Kirby game. Truly feel like a powerhouse, even for Kirby standards. Relatively easy to collect everything.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
7
A solid traditional Zelda game with both the strengths and weaknesses of one. Clearer and more intuitive dungeon design with slightly finicky motion controls.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
10
Long-awaited sequel that's even better than the already perfect BOTW. I prefer exploring this iteration of Hyrule, more mechanics, more to explore, more to play with.
Luigi's Mansion 3
-
-
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
-
-
Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
10
The most definitive Mario Kart to date with an ungodly amount of characters and courses. Stuck around for years and years that I eventually got sick of playing it.
Mario Party Superstars
9
Felt like a true return to classic Mario Party. Loved the boards and minigame selection, even if it should've gotten more boards.
Miitopia
9
Definitive version that makes the game even easier, but the charm makes up for it. Perfect brain-off game.
Overcooked! 2
8
Very chaotic and fun party game, depending on the people you play with. Made me realize how scatter-brained I am.
Pac-Man 99
-
-
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
10
A perfect and beautiful remake. Thoughtful quality-of-life features that make the adventure run smoother of an already legendary Mario RPG.
Part Time UFO
-
-
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!
6
A decent remake that does not take a lot of effort to beat, kinda too easy. Very bright and polished graphics for Pokémon standards.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond
7
Did not play for 3 years cuz of the controversy. Not as offensive as I thought, but still not outstanding as a remake.
Pokémon Legends Arceus
8
A nice formula shake-up with fun exploration of ancient Sinnoh. Story is not really that memorable.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
-
-
Pokémon Scarlet
7
A huge mixed bag of enjoying the story a lot but couldn't ignore the performance issues. I like to hoard a lot of items and Pokémon in this game.
Pokémon Shield
6
Didn't care for the story and pacing at all. Felt like a truly middling Pokémon adventure. Grinded for SO many legendaries in Dynamax Adventures.
Pokémon Unite
7
My first ever MOBA, enjoyed it a lot in 2021 with friends, but didn't like how long each match was. Crustle was my main.
Splatoon 2
8
Got this game 2 years after it released. Played a TON with online friends, expecially through COVID. Really enjoyed the maps and specials.
Splatoon 3
8
A more definitive version of Splatoon 2, logged over 1000 hours cuz of my chronic addiction. Played a lot with online friends.
Super Kirby Clash
7
Grinded this game from 2019-2020. Enjoyed the Kirby-fied Monster Hunter gameplay, even if it's repetitive.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
9
A more definitive version of one of my favorite Mario games of all time. Bowser's Fury was a nice beefy side adventure, if not a little annoying when Bowser goes off.
Super Mario Bros. 35
6
A decent gimmick game that was gone too soon. I suck at battle royales.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
9
Excellent and charming 2D adventure all the way through. Smooth and seamless gameplay that motivated me to 100% it.
Super Mario Maker 2
8
My most anticipated game of 2019. Played SO much online multiplayer with randoms. I was a little less involved in creating levels, but proud of what I did make.
Super Mario Party
7
Witnessed reveal using spotty WiFi during a summer cruise. A mostly nice return to form, but didn't have much staying power.
Super Mario Party Jamboree
7
Enjoyed what I played and appreciate new modes, but didn't get far due to Mario Party fatigue. Pacing is annoyingly slow.
Super Mario RPG
9
A beautiful remake that was surprisingly short and sweet. Lot of streamlined mechanics to make the gameplay smoother. Very charming art style and animation.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
10
Earns its "ultimate" status VERY well. SO much content packed, sunk over 1000 hours, especially during COVID. One of my chronically addicting games.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge
8
A fun pick-up and play beat-em-up, especially with friends. Loving homage to the 90's games.
UFO 50
9
Absolutely adore the value and concept of this fantasy console. Party House is my Balatro.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
8
My first ever Xenoblade, started at the end of 2024 and finished in 2025. Did not expect to get sucked into the story and gameplay. Teeters between tedious and satisfying, but I understand why it's highly regarded now.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition
-
-

Grand Theft Auto III - The Definitive Edition
7
An intriguing look into GTA and Liberty City before the scope became excessive. Loved the confined city vibes for me to memorize. Some missions were straight up unfair.
Grand Theft Auto V

One of the first mature games I fully experienced as a teenager. The raw, nuanced, and nostalgic vibes still sit with me to this day. Arcadia Bay feels like a real place.

7
My first taste of an old-school business simulator. Kinda overwhelming tools to learn. Made a profitable town using only bus transportations.

8
Played through all of the levels with online friends trying to get 3 stars. Helped me master the game and win a tournament because of it.

SimCity 3000 Unlimited
8
First deep dive into SimCity in 2025. Classic resource management formula that can be stressful and addicting. Balance of retro-feel without feeling dated.
The Sims
7
Charmingly difficult and rough around the edges, but still an addicting life simulator. Sims are VERY needy.
The Sims 2
8
Got the official Ultimate bundle for free back in 2014 with all of the expansion packs. A sequel full of heart and ambition with some challenging elements and some dated systems.
The Sims 3
9
One of my favorite games of all time. Torrented the game at first in 2014. My first real deep dive into the franchise. Created and downloaded so many Sims, lots, and worlds.
The Sims 4
6
Never got into the game because of the lackluster features and sentiment. Eventually got the base game for free officially years into the lifespan. More stable but more bland than Sims 3.
